No problem. I will let you know when I leave here.
Leaving here in a coupe of minutes. Be there by 1.
Headed in too. Thank you
Sorry, I’m just seeing your post. I’ll be in on Monday and Wed. Let me know if you still need help.
It is quilted and it is beautiful. I will let Ashley be the first to post it. We still have lots of fun things to do to finish it. But … . We are excited.
I cant wait to see it!!!
You can post it, June.
So pretty!

At least the quilt looks good in this pic.
It looks fantastic!
nice work!
Sorry, I am not a great Photographer. But I like it and you are glowing.
Looks nice Ashley, now you know why handmade quilts are so expensive. They’re a ton of work! But when made as a gift, it’s a labor of love.
Now the binding… my least favorite part.
I bet I have methods that would make you like it. I love bias tape, mitered corners, and hand sewing
Ohhh. Share some methods? I have only done binding once, on a potholder. It was awful
Ashley. Did you get your quilt squared and binding done?
Not yet. Had a minor setback while trimming that I’m trying to fix.
So I have been playing around with a VERY CRUDE test piece, but it is doing what I wanted, which is giving me something that I don’t care about that I can take from start to finish.
Tonight I was playing around with the pantograph. Did one row, and played around with indexing the second row. Probably did it wrong, but kind of followed a video as best as I could.
Unfortunately, I did not think to look at the bobbin thread before I started playing around. I ran out half way through the second row. I know Paula and June are both out of town. @Brian, any chance you might be in the area tomorrow to help me out? Clearly, in this case, I can easily change threads, but if this were real, I would need to know how to safely pull this thread out and make a few bobbins, and put it back. I assume I would do that by the tying method, and just put a different thread in temporarily. Just would feel more comfortable with supervision.
I will be here pretty much all day tomorrow. We have Orientation from 2:30 - 5:00, but will be here earlier, or I can stay later. If not, no big deal, it can be done some other time.
I’ll also be there at 10AM to do some cutting and return the dresses to the mannequin. I can probably help you then
I can come tomorrow mid afternoon. I have 2 ready to quilt and I was planning on making the orientation as well.
I can also be there Sunday after 3:30 or Monday afternoon.
Ping me tomorrow if you still need help and we can pin down a time. 316-866-1798
