This may sound like the opposite of what one might ask with that machine… but how SMALL of a stack can it cut? Both in dimension and in quantity…
How about naming it Vader?
For dimension, it can go down to the thickness of a few hairs, I suppose…really just shaving the edges. For quantity, it will do a single sheet as easily as an entire ream of paper.
So happy that you finally have power and we can see these things in action. Looking forward to getting authorized.
I need a bit to go through the press and cutter and to gather some ink, paper, and a few things to print. Then I’ll be putting letterpress and cutter classes on the calendar.
This is so freakin’ cool. I’ve been eager to print out some small portraits of our founding fathers. You know, as a tribute, of course.
You know, as a tribute, of course.
You misspelled dartboard
If the first thing printed on this isn’t old timey wanted posters i will be disappointed.
I 100% want to print, bind, then use… my own bujo. I prefer dot grid.
I cut one of those planer blocks you wanted
It just so happens that we have a saddle stitcher and a corner rounder, so you can bind it and make it look pretty.
The press, or the cutter?
Someone on the FB post asked what supplies you needed.
Name Which Vader? Good question, they both have the sound profile.
I suggest we name the cutter Vader and the press Baron Harkonen
Above all else, we need ink. It can be letterpress or offset ink, rubber base or oil base – whatever. The press will run just about any kind of actual printing ink, except for silkscreen ink (which isn’t really ink).
I asked my 3-year-old grandson what they should be called. For the press, he suggested “George.” For the cutter, he suggested “George.”
George Vader and George Harkonen?
George Vader and George Skywalker? (Sounds better and Skywalker kinda jives with the operation of the letterpress)
