I’m not authed on the metal lathe, I have this part that has internal threads, and I just need the threads gone.

The threads are just at the bottom of the small lip at the top. Only about a half inch deep.

Is that aluminum? I don’t see the threads in the picture so I guess they must be pretty small. How long is the part? What is the diameter of the flange?
Part is alluminum, Flange opening ID is 86mm, threads 83.5ID start 11mm in from the opening and end 14 mm in. We are requesting that the entire 14mm of the flange be 86mm
I could meet up sometime and show you the part.

that would be fine. I should have specified, what is the outer diameter of the flange? and how long is the part?
Total length of the part is 127mm, and Tube is around 115mm, OD is around 89.3mm thickness of the wall looking to be around 1.4 mm
