I wasn’t able to make it to Woodshop safety and was hoping I could go through a quick class to get certified to use the tools. I’ve been around Woodshops most of my life (maybe not like ours) but am working a project for Textiles and would like to use the tools.
I’m the lead, but I’m not in she so very often due to my work schedule. I’m adding Matt Cleary who’s been teaching the safety classes. Work with him to see if you can do it another time.
Edit: I see now that there is a class on the18th and I can just wait for that one.
I am also interested in getting authorized. I have basic tool knowledge but most of my actual experience is with hand tools rather than a shop setup. I also have an entire childhood of watching DIY and woodworking shows on PBS and now am addicted to woodworking and turning YouTube videos. My schedule is very open as well.
