Wiki Site: Expired Security Certificate

Hey,

Just a heads up, the security cert for the Wiki expired on June 2nd

This has been fixed. Thank you for bringing it up.

For the rest of IT: I restarted the droplet and that applied the new cert.

Well, maybe that didn’t quite fix it, but it is fixed now.
Apparently the cert still showed as expired and my browser cached that I had trusted the expired cert so it looked ok when it shouldn’t have when I checked it.

@IT Trying to run certbot to renew wasn’t working because the cert has both wiki.makeict.org and makeict.org.
The latter no longer has DNS pointing to the droplet since we moved it to Bluehost.
So, I ended up having to create a brand new cert for wiki.makeict.org only and change the webserver config to point to the new pem and restart apache.
That seems to have done the trick. The cert it only valid through September though and I’m not 100% certain the auto-renewal will kick in.
