Where to find boxes

I need 10 identical cardboard boxes, approximately 8x4x2" - like the one pictured below. I’m kind of picky on the size, but not much else. I can find them online, but only in large quantities like 25+.

I thought I’d ask here if anyone happens to have boxes this size I could buy from them OR, if not, if anybody would be interested in a good deal on my extras if I do end up buying a 50 pack or whatever.

Do they have to be blank?

I just bought a case of these https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B09DSLY54M that I’m satisfied with. They’re 9x6x4 inches, but the same vendor has a number of sizes on that same page. I paid about $1.44 each.

Oh, and if these would be suitable, I’ll be happy to sell you any quantity for what I have in them.

@dom :raising_hand_woman:t6: I’ll buy the extras from you if you end up buying the 50 pack

Cardboard is not a high priced item. The problem I have is the shipping cost for any larger sizes is running 2s the cost of the product.

Any local sources of larger sized pieces of cardboard, 2 feet x 4 feet or larger?

John Nicholas

Thanks, David - too tall though :-/

Ok, I’ll DM you!

Have you tried priority flat rate boxes? USPS is free and will deliver to your house if you need quantities.

Their boxes aren’t quite the right size - plus they don’t open in ideal way for my use case. It also feels a little weird taking USPS boxes and not actually paying to ship something.

Pratt Box here in town has 8x5x2 boxes. I think they’re around $1.75 in 25 quantity.

I’d often wondered if there was a way to collectively aggregate these bulk purchase leftovers in a sort of shared market. A way to spread the deals around in a sort of micro-consignment way.
