@ElectricGeckos has been doing the safety classes/authorization. He tends to do them monthly. Just watch the calendar.

Hello, I just joined yesterday. Can I go to the woodshop safety class this Saturday though I haven’t attended a new member training yet? The new member training is next Tuesday. Thanks!

Yes, you can register. If @Security is able to process your application before Saturday, it’ll knock your registration fee down to free since you’ll be considered a member at that point, you just won’t have a keycard yet.

@shack I’m in the same boat! I paid my membership fee and am just waiting for the Tuesday orientation, but would love to get checked out in the woodshop and not have to wait for next month. Security hasn’t processed the application yet, so I’m wondering what I should do. Thanks for any help!
