So this is a weird question, I have a helium tank it a little 20 pound one you get at sams they are not refillable anyone want it or know how I dispose of it?
I assume it is empty. Then any metal scrap/recycling place would take it.
If not empty then using the He would better than venting. Who does not like balloons.

Those disposable helium tanks are good for metal projects–lanterns, cookers etc. Drop it by the makerspace, if noone else wants it I will take it.
Some people have made gas forges out of freon tanks.
I got a bunch of empty freon tanks if anyone needs some i bought at a yard sale years ago great for making metal garden planters or metal Halloween pumpkins they were empty when i got them.
