Now I don’t have a collection of machine screws at my house, but I bet some of you do. I will try to attach a picture of the one on the other side of the door for reference.
Could I get one (or more) of you with collections to see if you would have a replacement.
Also if anyone sees one like this dropped on the floor somewhere… add it back to the handle.
A couple of things to note.
The missing screw (not depicted above) has been missing more than two years.
If anyone does replace, tighten, loosen or otherwise mess with the screws in the door handles there is a good chance it will no longer latch properly when released, or it will be too tight when pushing the crash bar to egress.
