Despite the writing on the router table saying to only use ER collets, somebody tried to use the wrong collet. It was “very snug”, probably because it won’t tighten onto a router bit since it doesn’t fit the router.
I’ll try to get new signage made, with pictures. But please tell your woodworking friends that if something isn’t working, it’s probably because you are doing it wrong; don’t try to force it!
