USB powered variable supplies

I bought these off wish, the top one was about 12bucks, the bottom is about six. They aren’t bad as far as putting out voltage. They both were within 100mV of my work meter and it was calibrated yesterday. Keep in mind it can’t create power so you trade voltage for current, so don’t expect 10A at 25V from a 5v 1A wall wart. I can also tell you they don’t like being shorted. They just shut down. But they both have a button to turn the output off and they both have adjustable voltage from less than a volt to 25V. The top one does something weird at about .5V.

Not bad little supplies for what they are, especially for the price. I plan to use them at work for desktop biasing applications. (A fancy phrase for "playing with stuff at my desk)

I use this USB connecter so I can get a max of 2400 watts off a 20A home circuit… my phone charges right up.
