Took some time and set up the first of two Foredom Model CC flexshafts. The good news is #1 is in good condition, both are flag/key style swappable shafts, and both speed controllers work like a charm. #1 is set up with the foot pedal variable speed control.
The bad news is #2s shaft/sheath needs some TLC and eventual repair, and currently the chuck key for the rotary head is not present.
Still a big step and a big thanks to those who made it happen.
UPDATE: #2 shaft was patched but it looks pretty sketch. Iām leaving it on the shelf for now as a back-up to #1 until I can replace the sheath.
