All this work appears to Not be glazed. It is on the glaze firing shelf. If it is still greenware it needs to go on the other shelf to be bisque fired. Some is bisque already but not yet glazed so we are confused as to why it’s on the glaze fire shelves.
Those are mine. There was a sign with them originally explaining… the pieces have been bisq fired but as I understand still need to be vitrified whether they get glazed or not for durability? We are being relocated unexpectedly and on short notice through the military. I am a new mom and will not have the time to finish glazing all my pieces before we move so wanted to just get them fully fired and will paint with acrylics or similar.
I’m sorry- the note was not clear. We thought that note only went with the glazed mugs the note was sitting by. We made sure to get those in.
The kiln was completely full with several pieces that could not fit.
Your unglazed pieces will time glaze better for you later if they are not vitrified now before glazing. Hopefully you can pack them away safely and glaze and fire them after you return.
Vitrification now will make them stronger, and you could use acrylics on non- food pieces. For anything that will hold food or liquids, acrylics would not be recommended.
Sorry we didn’t understand what you were requesting on the unglazed work.
The last of your pieces are in the kiln tonight. They should all be ready for pick up by Wed night or Thursday.
