I saw this on Etsy and remembered seeing a lot of beginning (and seasoned) wheel throwers end up with a tiny pot. Don’t throw it out, you’ve just made a toothpick holder!

I see a lot of tiny pots thrown on tiny throwing wheels and thought they were adorable, like little gnome barrels or fairy tubs!

You can also use them for matchsticks and if you only glaze part of it you can strike on the unglazed part
One of the first gallery shows we had at our previous location John Cody offered some match holders/toothpick holders. He was quite surprised that they sold very quickly even though he thought he was pricing them pretty high.
