Thursday December 10 COVID exposure

Friday I received unfortunate news which I must share with you. A member of Thursday night’s orientation received a positive test for COVID-19 Friday. Our member’s test was administered as a routine screening in the course of their job and not because they felt symptomatic. However, a followup test confirmed the positive diagnosis.

Although we practiced masking and social distancing, transmission of the virus is still possible as asymptomatic virus transmission does occur. Please send good thoughts to our member as they go through an uncertain time.

I am quarantining and staying away from MakeICT until I can get an accurate COVID test which will not be until 5 days from the possible exposure Thursday.
If you were in the building on Thursday from about 5:30 to 9 pm please contact me to discuss whether you should also quarantine.

It is unfortunate that these are the times we live in, but we must do what we can to stop the viral spread. Distancing is the number one tool we have in our arsenal.

If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Sincerely,

JaiPal, President MakeICT

this person was only there on Thursday, not Tuesday, correct?

Correct, it was a member of the class on Thursday night.

Will there be a work night on Tuesday?

Yes, if y’all would like to work but Paula and I will not be able to be there.
