Tonight we had a pair of thieves break into a members car in the parking lot and steal items from inside. A police report has been made and video submitted to PD. This is just a reminder that thieves are opportunistic and will strike if they feel the risk versus reward is on their side. Please keep valuables that you are not taking inside with you in the trunk of your car or hidden from plain sight. If that is not feasible place the items in a position that would give someone the most difficulty in grabbing or place barriers to slow them down, including seat belting in items.
Please be aware of the below individuals. If you see anyone looking like these two please notify WPD.

Caucasian Female, Mid to Late 30s, Medium Build, Short Bleached or Plat. Blonde Hair, Roughly 5’4"
This was my car. I am most disappointed about losing my personal belongings that were in the back pack. These will have no value to the thieves. In particular is a photo book I had made for my grandson the day he was born and my pink stethoscope. I imagine that they rifled through the bag and threw away what they couldn’t use. If folks could keep an eye out for those things in the neighborhood. That would be helpful.
