Thanks everyone!

(Find someone this week who is doing a great job at the Makerspace and thank them. We have so many people doing such a good job and somehow we only hear about what isn’t done and what people don’t like. Lets celebrate the good!!! We have tons of it. :smiley:

  • Thank you Patrick for keeping us informed about the Empty Bowls project and driving me and anyone else who wants to come to the Tulsa MakerFaire!

  • Thank you David for getting us involved in Magic Wheelchair and being treasurer when no one else would.

  • Thank you Tom for continuing to help out in the Fab Lab after you had to quit because you were too busy to be lead.

  • Thank you Zac for being in the Fab Lab and helping numerous people get started.

  • Thank you Malissa who will teach a class with one person in it and make him a happy camper (oh and for many, many other things you do around the space and for it.)

  • Thank you Doug for teaching oodles of really, good fun wood working classes to share your love of it.

  • Thank you all the people who take Doug’s special hazardous materials classes and for all who help out around the wood shop.

  • Thanks everyone who came for Brooms and Burgers and cleaned the space.

  • Thanks Shannon for picking up the torch and leading the Community etc committee (and for Erik and all the other members who are helping us there!)

  • Thanks Dean for trying to make the Maker Showroom work for us.

  • Thanks Kim for taking on the thankless job of president and for cleaning the bathrooms before every maker Monday and for doing so much more!

  • Thanks people who randomly cleanup the co-working area and make it look so much better! (You know who you are!)

  • Thanks people who take out the trash without being asked!

  • Thanks people who move recyclables from the trash to the recycle bin

  • Thanks JB for all the classes and work around the space.

  • Thanks Josh for always being there to make the badges and get people sorted out on Maker Monday.

  • Thanks everyone who does tours and answers questions from all the newbies on Maker Monday.

  • Thanks everyone who takes people on a tour of the space when they randomly appear on our doorstep.

  • Thanks Marc for taking over the printshop and always having a smile on your face

  • Thanks Paul for taking on way too much stuff at the space and being smart enough to let go of some of it :slight_smile: and for getting us started on Fundraising (and so much more…)

  • Thanks Christian for keeping all the backend systems afloat and fixing stuff around the space without being asked and for leading the leads…

  • Thanks Mark S. for taking over the ERP lab and really getting some action going there.

  • Thanks James S. for being ERP lab lead and getting it off the ground and for enthusiasm…

  • Thanks Kez for adding more ERP classes to the schedule and showing girls can do this too

  • Thanks Scott for making ceramics be a hopping place

  • Thanks John for keeping ceramics going at a time where without a lead it would probably have closed down

  • Thanks Michelle for volunteering to do a class for toddlers and their parents

  • Thanks for all the teachers who teach the 300+ classes ( I especially thank you :slight_smile: )

  • Thanks for the people who move the desks around in the classroom before Maker Monday and Board meetings and anytime really.

  • Thanks to the people who answer questions of all the new people who finished a class and just need a little help getting started

  • Thanks to everyone who doesn’t complain, but just fixes things.

  • Thanks for putting the toilet paper on

  • Thanks everybody who has a smile on their face

  • Thanks for everybody who I forgot to thank

Thanks for all the other things you do and have done, for the MakerSpace, for MakeICT, and while not neglecting your own and your family’s needs.
