Table saw up - 15 Aug

The table saw is down until I can have a look at it.

11 Aug update: Yesterday it was reported to me that the blade would go down easily but was very hard to turn going the other direction (up). It was just reported to me that the handwheel turns now but the blade doesn’t move and it makes very bad noises. It seems that somebody, despite the note on the saw saying not to use it, came in and tried to force the blade up, potentially breaking something in the saw. I would like to think that the saw just got worse sitting there on its own overnight or today…

I will be back in Wichita Tuesday and will look at it then.

Parts are ordered and should be here Friday.

New parts are installed and the saw is lubricated. I think I need to adjust the endplay on the elevation control shaft but the saw is operational.
