Table router will [now] go up or down if you turn the handle key

Today i was using the router and was adjusting the height when something broke or got knocked off track and will not go up or down when you turn the adjuster. Please advise if this can be looked at as its a primary tool for my project. I would be happy to come in to help fix it.

Geez! Stop touching stuff! I’m kidding. I will probably be by later and can have a look at the router. If @squarenuts has spare blades, I can change the bandsaw blade too.

Can you please finish my project. I wont touch a thing

Oh yeah.

I modified the table plate in the Norm Abrams style router table in the stationary machine room to fit one of the Bosch routers. This router uses a more robust version of the same lifting mechanism as the craftsman did before it. It will be rather susceptible to dust and should be removed and cleaned rather than having to force any adjustments.

I’ll be ordering the need parts to fix the proper lift, and will update with an estimated timeline for it’s repair.

Parts are ordered, but they probably won’t ship until next week. Will update again when I’ve got more info.
