This seems like an excellent scientific approach to creating a garden with good results and less back pain lol!
Has anyone else tried this method?
What were your results?

Mulvane CO-OP has straw bales for $6.25 has anyone found or know where to get straw bales cheaper?
I need about 30 bales they can be old straw as long as they are still firm to pick up and still in square bale form.
It is a very effective low energy way of gardening. Just make sure you precondition bales BEFOREplanting as they can get hot enough to cook plants during conditioning.
Look on Craigslist for straw bales in the farm and garden category.
I was just at the CO-OP they have very little left and because of the drought he doesn’t think he will get any more this season. Round bales are now selling for $130 and they are completely out of those.
Thanks for heads up i plan to go there thursday id better call first
