I’ve messaged Chris and got one response but little else from him. I wasn’t aware that Jimmy was doing anything since any time I’ve asked for input I get none.
I was able to power up the oven tonight but bypassing the airflow sensor. However, I underestimated the volume of the new oven. It is right at twice the size of the old oven, by volume. As it is currently configured, 208/3, the wattage is just a little more than the old oven has. Despite the better insulation, the time to reach temperature is impractical for powder coating use. In 30 minutes, it was able to reach 260F. Of course, the temperature would rise more slowly the warmer it gets.
