I’m sure somewhere in all these threads there has to be a current status and project timeline regarding our space being open for projects, etc but I can’t seem to find it? I’ve had several “new” prospects want to get involved, what is the process for these potential members and how do we get them plugged in?
We have had several prospective members come down on the work night on Tuesdays. They can help out with the building and start getting to know members and board members, and start getting signatures on an application.

Remake Tuesdays from 6-9 is the place to be!! This is our project organizational time and work night. What this means is with the help of many we can push the open date closer.

All - thanks for the feedback. Suggestion here. As we are “NOT” fully open for business yet it might be a good idea to actually put on our MakeICT website the “status” of the maker space, a few points how to get involved and call for action for those looking for a way who are not members to get involved. Last thing we want to do is not have a venue for those interested just surfing the web and not know what we are presently going thru and how to become involved.
We’ve got a big yellow box on the top of the website that has a link to our status page that talks about what’s going on. What else would you like/expect to see there as a prospective member? We can update that information or make that big yellow box bigger if it’s not working as intended to get that information out there.
