The drill press has been tampered with / missing assembly. What happened?
When is the last time you saw it?
The malfunction was noticed Sunday, 4pm. Last known working operation was Wednesday during the safety class.
Turns out, the return spring broke. No big deal, really. Those kinds of things break.
But it does beg the question; why wasn’t it reported? I hope I haven’t give someone the impression that mistakes or malfunctions are so intolerable that they need to be covered up or ignored. Please tell someone if something breaks. You can even use the phrase “it broke”, or the government option, “mistakes were made”. Just let us know.
