There has been so many requests for something like this. Victoria has done the work to bring a quality class! I can’t wait to see the work that comes out of it!

Thank you Chiann, it has been a fun journey learning about slip casting.

There are still 2 spots open if anyone else wants to join on Thursday!

I’m so sad I missed this. I just got my membership and this is my number one class to take. Did it go over well? Is there a way for me to sign up for the next one? Thanks!

I believe it went well. I will have another one in november and will make another post.

Is there a specific day that does not work for you?

Hi Victoria,
I’d be interested in taking one too! I’m pretty open so I’ll keep an eye out for the November one and join! I was in the group with Thad for one of his slip casting classes, but unfortunately we didn’t get to do the second part of that class as he left.

I heard about his slip casting class. My class is a little different since I do everything in one class.

I also heard he showed how to make the slip, where I just buy mine from Evans for about 12$ per 2 gallons of slip. I do talk about how to check the specific gravity to make sure it will work to make your casts.

Oh no. Any day after 3 I’m good and all day sundays and mondays

I really like the idea of having everything done in one class!

Hmmm, trying to recall now, as I think that was January… I think he talked about how to make the slip, but we also just bought the Evans 2 gallon ones.

Anyhow, excited to give it another go! Hoping for better luck this time around on getting the castings OUT of the molds, and I think a bit of instruction will probably be that key for me. That is where things went awry last time! :joy:

I completely understand. I just buy the slip as I have not taken time to learn how to make it hahaha
