I intend to take the shopbot offline for a day or two this week to upgrade the electronics enclosure. I will likely start this project late tonight or tomorrow night. I will update this post when complete.
edit: I’m sorry, but I wasn’t able to start on this tonight. I felt ill earlier and decided to come back home and take it easy this evening. Hopefully, I can get started on Wednesday.
The shopbot is operational again. I apologize for taking a little longer than planned. I’ve moved it away from the windows a bit. It was very difficult to clean behind before. The easier access should help with that. I’ve relocated the switch to a more accessible location and the electronics are moved to a real enclosure. The kluged together wiring has been replaced, as well.
I believe there is still enough room to use the lathes. If not please let me know and we’ll try to find an arrangement that is suitable to all.
