ShopBot collet question

I want to use a bit with a 3/16" shank. I only saw 1/4" collets in the woodshop and was trying to decide if I was going to buy a 1/4" to 3/16" adapter and then I thought it might be possible that the 1/4" collets we have might be designed to accept multiple shank sizes.

To save me a trip of driving all the way back over there, does anyone know if the 1/4" collets that we have also accept a 3/16" shank?

A 1/4" collet accepts 1/4" shanks.

I thought we had 1/4", 3/16", and 1/8" collets. Maybe I was mistaken?

I looked at all collets and couldn’t find a 3/16". I wanted to use a 3/16" end mill so I bought an Amana 3/16" to 1/4" adapter.
