Setting up a new sewing machine

My daughter picked up a singer heavy duty 4423 and is having problems with setting up the thread and lower bobbin. She bought it used and the lady said she only used it twice, but the lower bobbin and assembly was never assembled so not sure how she used it🤔

Anyone available over the next few days for a few minutes to show her the initial setup?

I’m new to MakeICT, but very familiar with sewing and sewing machines. I will be at the new member orientation on Saturday. If you would like to meet after, I’d be willing to take a look at the machine and help her get it set up.
