Saw stop down :(

Fired the saw stop this morning…happy to replace the cartridge and provide a blade. Maybe over lunch?

Yeah, no contact or injury. I think it was the melamine on the surface of the material that allowed conductance.

Did you find the cause? Was melamine the actual issue?

I think so, there are mixed results on my search on melamine and it didn’t trigger on the first 5 cuts but the sixth did for some reason. I’m still a little mystified.
I almost never cut anything but wood and plywood on the sawstop.
All fixed now!

I would notify sawstop, they may cover the cartridge and could tell you more about the cause.
