The blade in the horizontal bandsaw (cold metal shop) had about half the teeth missing and about half the teeth damaged, and it was cutting very slowly. I noticed that there was a spare blade under the saw, so I replaced the old blade with the new spare, and finished my cutting job. The saw works OK now, but there is no longer a spare blade underneath it.
Thanks in advance to whoever picks up or orders a spare blade.
The hydraulic cylinder and valve for downfeed control is a little balky, that may be why so many blade teeth were missing. I’ll try to look at the cylinder and valve as time permits.
