The Renwick School System is getting into gear with the STEAM and STEM movement!
After getting electrified by the many robot centered titles on the William Allen White state booklist, Diane Simon wants to host a robot day with MakeICT’s help! The focus will be on how circuit boards and robots are made, and would like for us to present between 30 and 45 minutes at 9am on March 28th.
If you are interested in helping off or showing off your robotic creations, please let me know by the end of this week!

Does anyone else want to join us to present on Thursday?
We’re also looking for videos of how robots are being used around Sedgwick County. If you have any videos that you think would be useful, let us know! Right now we have a bunch of videos from Spirit Aerosystems but we’re open to other videos approved by local companies or footage you took on your own.

Thank you to everyone that came out to Garden Plains Elementary today!
It was a bit of a surprise to find out we were presenting in front of 4 schools! Andale , St. Marks, Colwich, and Garden Plains.
The students and teachers really enjoyed the presentation. The presentation itself was about 35min, and then we stayed around for another 25 minutes of questions while the students and teachers had lunch.
