I’ve been on a couple of these calls it’s a good space to help and learn from each other. After working 10 hour days it’s not always easy. It would be great to have a few people join in and rotate or have a couple ears on each call. Anyone want to step up?

In honor of Grant Imahara, i think makerspaces should create Maker Grants.
To help broaden and deepen Maker inclusivity, let’s all grant one month free memberships to potential members who normally wouldn’t join a space. Then work to bring them into family of makers longterm.
Grant Imahara inspired millions. Well in honor of his contribution to making, we should recognize him in this small way and grow the Maker movement and overcome our biggest inclusivity issues.
Let’s all strive to give Maker Grants.
We will talk about this further on Wednesday Relaunch call at 7pm EST.
Join us as we have several powerful guests sharing their inspirational Maker stories and how we can grow Maker movement.
We will also be brainstorming how Makerspaces can support schools.
