Hi! I dont have much sewing experience, but my boyfriend has a favorite quilt that is in rough shape. I was wondering if anyone knew who/where I could take it to get repaired.
I m just seeing this. Did you find help? How old is the quilt? Where is the damage? Depending on age, location, type of damage, etc. I may be able to help. I wiould need to see the quilt in question.
Hi! Its pretty bad shape. There are multiple big holes and the pattern is just a lot of small hexagons. I dont know how old it is bc he bought it secondhand. If we could patch it up that would be great, but if not i can look for replacements. He said he doesnt really care about matching up the pattern. It doesnt have much sentimental value, he just loves it for some reason. “its the perfect texture” lol. I could bring it and leave it in the sewing room next time i go, if you’d like to see it.
Let’s schedule a time to meet so it doesn’t get mixed in with fabric by accident. If it’s hexagons that might be something that can be worked with.
