Print crashed because Z could not be determined.
I’m heading that way here around 7:15 pm or so, I’ll take a look at it when I get there, and see if it’s something simple.
Thanks
I returned this morning to try again. I think there may be multiple issues. The first being a clogged nozzle, I could not get filament to extrude. I tried heating the tip up to 260 and leaving it there for a couple minutes but nothing dripped out. I did use a towel to clean off the exterior of the hot end. I then tried loading PLA but again it would not extrude. I didn’t get to trying to calibrate the Z
The printer wasn’t labeled as down; so I did a z cal and tried to print.
It got gummed up and the nozzle is all gunked up, so I put an out of service marker on it.
Sorry!
Prusa 3 is, once again, operational on 18-April. After I cleaned the blob, the nozzle was loose, which is what caused the blob in the first place.
I re-tightened the nozzle, and then re-calibrated the machine, and when I left, it was happily printing a Benchy, which the finder of the Benchy may have for their own. I’ve got far too many of my own already! lol
