Powder coating softball equipment

I was wondering if you could powder coat a softball batting helmet .

Yes it can probably be done. However, I believe the heat required will deform the helmet, so I wouldn’t try it.

Edit: just looked up the material and many use ABS, which will definitely change shape in the oven.

I’ve always seen helmets painted with spray paint or airbrush.

I haven’t spray painted stuff since the 90s and I’ve never airbrushed. But I do watch too much YouTube.

I think your best bet is to mask it off and use a spray enamel.

I think epoxy coating would look nice
