The green powder coating oven quit at the end of class this morning. The panel lights are on but it does not heat and the fan does not come on. Door switch is making contact and the breakers are good.
Since I am one of the powder coatring trainers, I’d like to be involved in the troubleshooting and repair of the oven. At a minimum, I’d like to know what steps were taken. I’m retired and with a little advance notification, available most of the time so I can meet up to work on this.
I plan to be at the Electronics Meetup this Sunday, 3-5pm. I’ll try to come in earlier than that, say, 2pm to look at it. If you’re able to be there then, we’ll take a look at it. Thanks!
Dang…unfortunately I have a family dinner at that time and can’t make it then. Please keep me informed on what you find and the way forward. If parts are needed, I am available during the week to run around town and pick them up.

Larry looked at it and got it back up and running today. There’s a breaker inside the right panel that flipped.
It might be worth digging into what would have tripped the breaker (old age and already flipped a few times or something deeper is going on like a connector needing to be replaced)
Ahhh, good to know what the resolution was. Thanks for the info.
thanks for the info and doing the repair.
