If you get clay on a towel, please rinse it thoroughly. The washing machine drain lines can’t handle clay.
It doesn’t matter the color of clay- it all needs rinsed after you use it.
Red clay is especially difficult because it turns the washer water red and deposits red on all the other towels.
This was left at the sink earlier today with chunks of clay left in the towel. I’ve seen a lot of towels recently being left at or near the sink with clay stuck in the towel still.
