I painted multiple colors of acrylic over white PLA.

Sanding and filling if needed. I prime with a rattle can primer then airbrush .
I use as economical paint a as possible. I use acrylics and brush for details. Some times even a sharpie or brush pen for fine lines. Then finish with clear coat.
