I will be bringing in my digital workstation setup - folks will be able to digitize any elements of their zine that they like.
Visual references will also be obtained.

Hi. I know this post is over a year old. But I hope we can chat about zine-making. I am in the drafting phase of a new project that combines textiles, embroidery/appliqué, floral still life, and digital art that I would like to turn into a zine. Overall, my thought is to create a fabric book of floral embroidery still life, digitize it in Adobe, and create a hard copy that I can sell or distribute as a zine. Possibly adding my poetry or other writings, maybe a how-to for some embroidery stitches.. idk yet lol
Anywho, I would love to chat about your zine-making experience/techniques and how I can apply that to my project. - Thanks

Self-published literature of any topic the author desires, be it random scribblings, poetry, comics, theology, academic dissertations, music and pop culture, an obsession with one’s pet…whatever.
Autocratic automatic autonomic expression. In a magazine. 'Zine for short. So, yeh. That’s it. If you got something to say you can say it, and you can be your own press. That’s what a 'zine is for.
