Sorry if I missed it on the calendar, but is there going to be another Hazardous Materials Authorization soon? I’m interested in utilizing MDF to make some bookends, but I believe that’s one of the materials that requires that authorization prior to cutting.
I’ll be posting more classes soon. Thanks for asking, I’ll be sure to offer one soon.
Do weekday evenings generally work with your schedule?
Also I hope to soon stop saying “soon” so much. Might not be soon enough tho…
Tossing my name into the pool for interest in the next class. I’ve got a project that will use some Walnut, and it’d be much more enjoyable on the machines in the space.
Thanks!

How would the 27th (next Monday)from 5 to 7 work for you?
That works for me! Thank you!
Class has been added to calendar. 5pm 11/27/23
Thanks!
Oooo thanks getting in on this too.
MDF as hazmat on laser cutter? In woodshop?
MDF is in the woodshop, and requires authorization therein. In the FabLab I believe it is allowed thanks to lasers making smoke rather than dust, and the exhaust system.
Glad I learned ahead of time. I have some 4 ft baseboard lengths looking for a project. But I dont want me, or anyone else, getting in hot water.
