New spindle sander drums

There are new drums for spindle sander. One of the OEM spindles has been modified to accept these generic sanding drums. Note that because these sanding drums are generic, and thus less expensive and easier to find, they are too short to be used with the table tilted.

The new sleeves can be found in a box in the sandpaper cabinet.

There are also new wrenches for the spindle sander. I need to get one more 17mm wrench and will do so. Please refrain from using pliers on the spindles and hardware as it damages them.

If we need to get more of the long sanding drums so the table can be used tilted, let me know. In particular, the 1.5” rubber part is missing and can only be replaced by purchasing the whole spindle assembly at a cost of almost $200, shipped. That’s what prompted the search for a less expensive way to use the machine.
