New Soap Dispensers, opinions sought

I’m seeking opinions.
Facilities intends to replace all of the soap dispensers in the building (10 total).
We are looking at two options.
Option 1:
Hand actuated wall mounted refillable foaming soap dispensers @ $25.99 each
1 gallon of soap fills 4 units @ $23.04 / gallon. 2.5 gallons required for the whole building.
Total = 10 dispensers + 3 gal. of soap = $329.02 initial price
3 gal to refill the building = $69.12 ongoing price

Option 2:
Hand actuated wall mounted proprietary foaming soap dispensers @ 12.98 per dispenser
2 free dispensers are included with each case of soap purchased.
1 case of soap is $84.34 (12 units)
5 cases of soap + 10 free dispensers = $421.70
probably wouldn’t need to order soap again for a year

Option 3
Same hand actuated wall mounted proprietary foaming soap dispensers @ 12.98 per dispenser
2 free dispensers are included with each case of soap purchased.
1 case of soap is $83.04 (12 units)
2 cases of soap + 4 free dispensers + 6 paid for dispensers = $243.96
24 soap units should last us 2-3 months

The proprietary soap dispensers use a small plastic bag to contain the soap, so while they do generate more small plastic trash the trash generated is probably lighter in weight to the gallon jugs of the refillable variety. The two options are very close on the pros and cons so I wanted to know if any members have a strong opinion.

Thanks

Any idea how much soap we use in a year? Any ratings of the dispensers? Apparently, we are hard on them. (Or maybe they are not well-made.) I suppose we have looked at the cost versus just regular soft soap…

I don’t really know how much soap we use in a year because the dispensers we have are hard to use and easy to break but it feels like we go through a couple of gallons a year.
Foaming soaps do a better job with less volume of material required.

Are any of these ones we might be familiar with or have seen somewhere? Not that it has to be a factor, but some just feel cheap.

Probably, though unless you’re a cognoscente of handwashing in public places, it’s unlikely that you’ve paid much attention to the brand line. They are both products from reputable national manufacturers.
The refillable is the Lite N Foamy Model SP9757

The proprietary is the Buckeye Symmetry Mavrick Prestige 500ml Model Bk99602001, which frankly I’m disinclined to buy just because that has got to be the stupidest hyperbolic name for a soap dispenser on the market.

I agree with the name… lol. …and not indulging whoever came up with it. :joy:

Option 1 sounds like the easiest to refill - just dump it on top?

Whatever choice is made, we’re going into  season so maybe whatever can get here quick too?

Tuesday we installed Lite N Foamy refillable soap dispensers in all of the bathrooms.
Next week we will install them at the hall sinks, kitchen sink, and ceramics room.
The life cycle cost for the refillable units was the deciding factor.
