I am very new to carpentry. I wpuld like to meet with a member who could give me a rundown of tools and take me through authorization process for bigger tools. A few projects I’m thinking about call for the planer. Are there consistent times where I could catch a team member who can help me?

Check the calender for a woodshop authorization class.

You will need to attend a woodshop authorization class before you can use the shop. This can only be provided by the Woodshop Area Lead or their designated representative. Unfortunately, it does not appear that there is a Woodshop Authorization class listed for July or August.
