My friend Laura is a milliner and teaches classes, you can see her work here Milli Star. She is willing to come to Wichita next summer if there is enough interest. I’m going to reach out to a few other places to make sure before I book her. Please let me know if this is something that interest you.

ooh… maybe she would like to talk to them… I just went to their website and apparently their tiny little store is the 3rd largest in the nation.
That was one of the places I was going to check.
Even if everything falls through, it would be pretty interesting to maybe get a tour or something…
I was also thinking about local studio tours. Like that and glass blowing.

Yes!!! I would love to take a milliner’s hat class. BTW I have all of my grandmother’s hats from the 50s, 60s 70s. She was a fancy hat lady. 
I will schedule a time to meet with Hat Man Jack and see what they offer or are willing to do. From what I’ve seen Jack and Laura have very different styles…
