Metal Lathe Basics (event-5752170)

I registered for “Metalshop Safety Class”, Monday, June 17, 6pm-7pm.
I wanted to also register for “Metal Lathe Basics”, same day, 7pm-8:30pm, but it won’t let me because the prerequisite is Metalshop Authorization. Doesn’t Metalshop Authorization come from Metalshop Safety Class"? Is there a way out of this conundrum? I’d like to take both if possible. Thanks in advance for any help. I filed this under General instead of Metalshop because I imagine this has happened before and that there’s an easy solution. Thanks again.
