I have a FB shop set up on our page. I’d like to do some membership gift sets for Christmas. $100 gift set with $75 (3 month) in membership and a few goodies to go with maybe a bumper sticker, laser cut ornament, and perhaps a mug to set it all in? $325 gift set 1 year membership, laser cut box with ornament, bumper sticker and possibly a MakeICT t-shirt. I’m just putting this out there as the sale season for Christmas is short this year and I want to attract new members this way or give the member in your life a gift you know they will use. Any input or interest in helping would be greatly appreciated.
I’m a little confused with your wording, but I think you mean offer two gift sets, a 3 month and a full year of membership. Both would include gift sets and be $25 more than what a membership typically is?
Yes, that’s it.
Keep in mind that selling gift cards on facebook is restricted: https://www.facebook.com/policies/commerce/restricted_content/gift_card
I’m not sure exactly what that means, but apparently restricted is not the same as prohibited, so maybe you need to obtain permission somehow?
I think the intent is to keep you from stealing a $50 gift card from some place and selling it (because it’s not activated at the register its worthless) this was a popular scam. Might still be. I think if we say give us 20 real bucks and we will give you 20 schrute bucks… that is probably ok.
Yes, I am aware and have already got listings for gift membership on our shop.
