Can I repot the aloes in the lounge? They are so so so sad. Are there extra pots and soil at makeict? I can also bring some from my house.

There is no area lead for the lounge and plants are not part of inventory. I think its up to member judgment, and I would tend to agree with you that they would enjoy a repot. There are a couple pots outside, but I haven’t seen any potting soil. It would probably do best in a cactus mix (i think there is a palm that needs a repot in cactus mix too).

Weird. There is a position for area lead for the lounge area. We used to have one. But I thought we had someone tending the plants specifically. Maybe the garden community can help out.

Alrighty I will go in and repot these aloes Monday night. Just didn’t want to step on anyone’s toes, since I’m so very new to make ICT and want to contribute in anyway I can.

I’m not aware of anyone from the garden caring for the lounge aloe, though @Noahjwc was caring for the plants at the welcome center. Those plants had notes on them. I say go ahead and care for them if you like, @NicoleR There may be pots outside but we don’t have any bags of potting soil and our garden soil has too much clay for them.

There is a free plant swap in ceramics on Saturday, ill tackle them then and get them spruced up.

There are 6 smaller aloes in the lounge that you can give away during the plant swap if anyone wants them.
