Hello! I am Tobias Wilson, as a kid I used to visit the maker space a lot, and recently it hadn’t been on my mind until now and I was able to get my account back. since being gone a couple of years I got older and picked up a couple hobbies and was looking for like minded people or anyone who might be interested in selling/buying anything since I find it really hard to find things locally.
I’ve been looking for electronic music equipment, I’ve been wanting to get into synths but Ebay requires me to save up a lot of money and there isn’t really anything local I’m aware about so if anyone here has anything they don’t use i would be interested in being a buyer. Even if you do use it and don’t want to sell it, I would love to maybe just mess around with something for an hour since I don’t really have access to any analogue equipment at all
As for vintage computers, I have a CRT where the fly back transformer is arcing, and while I think I have a fix for it I’m sure someone here is a lot more knowledgeable on this kind of stuff and I would much appreciate anything other know. I also have a couple vintage computers i cant really afford to repair and i would be happy to sell off some things if anyone here likes repairing that kind of stuff
If anyone is into either of those two things I would really appreciate getting to know people especially since its been really difficult to really find anyone locally with similar hobbies
