Limestone "Mill"

The Keeper of the Plains MakeICT sells for fundraising has to have a slot cut in them of the steel to be attached to the limestone base. You can see in this example.

This has been done free handed so far. It is also why we have not sold very many lately as the process is no fun. So in true maker style we set out to fix the problem. I did some brainstorming with @curt.gridley and finally settle on a simple design. With the help of @Kez we got it mostly roughed together today. A couple of feature left to work on, but it looks like it might work.

Nice work Paul & Kez!

Why grind slots in stone by hand when you can build a manually operated CNC machine instead!

Hey Paul,
What do we charge for the flags and the various sized of indians?

The keepers are

9" - $25
11" - $40
16" - $50
48" - $200

We have to track these a pay a %5 license with the agreement we have. All the rest of the money goes the MakeICT.

Anyone can make a flag with a licence, so we don’t sell those as a MakeICT fundraiser.
