Leather worker estate

I’ve been asked to help clear out a leather worker’s estate.

Are there any tools I should keep a special eye out for that would help with teaching leather working classes or is there an effort to get a leather area going?

Splitters, skiving knives, edging tools, cutting mats, …thread, lacing, strap cutters…there are plenty tools we can use they we don’t have yet.

Sure, my truck already has all the seatbelts full for tomorrow, but I can shoot you the address. It’s about a 30min drive from the maker space.

Ya, if ya could shoot me the address and what time you’ll be there I’d appreciate it.

Thanks again for the help.

Turns out the artist also did glass work. So in addition to some leather and milling tools, we were able to bring back some decent sized glass kilns and glass cutting/shaping tools.

That was definitely more of Tarka’s efforts.

I had no clue what half of the stuff laying around was for.

Tarka is a good addition to the team. She is getting her feet wet doing classes has a variety of skillsets. Wouldn’t surprise me If she was an assistant lead by the end of the year.
