Hi, we need some thick canvas for our slab roller and the material we have isnt thick enough. Is it possible to laminate 2 layers of canvas with a serger? Not just the edges but strips down the middle would be nice.
Anybody know?

A serger is designed to cut an edge so I don’t see it working down the center. What about a good fabric spray adhesive?

You could just run straight stitches a few inches apart down the pieces after serging them. We also have a big box of green canvas strips about 16-18" wide that is 12-14 oz. Fabric wall bottom left when facing the wall.
